What is Take the Step One Challenge?

As part of Cleveland County Health Department’s Fit Together initiative, “Take the Step One Challenge” is a community-wide approach to increasing physical activity and supporting obesity prevention strategies. With a pedometer provided by the sponsors, participants are asked to join a team and log their steps daily over the course of six weeks. “Take the Step One Challenge” is open to all Cleveland County residents at all levels of physical ability.
